Much like the last ATI quiz that I took this quiz helped me realize what topics I need to spend more time on when studying for the NCLEX. When taking this quiz I didn’t feel like the questions were hard, rather it was information that I knew pretty but needed to review again. There were a few small topics that came up a few times that I knew little information about and I will be sure to go back and write down the topics so that I can make sure I spend more time studying them. I was happy with my overall performance on the quiz, but I feel like I could have done better if I had refreshed myself on the topics before taking it. I liked how this quiz had a lot of prioritization questions as these questions can be very tricky for me. I’m happy that I was able to spend time working on them these types of questions. It was also extremely helpful having rationals provided with all the answers, so you are able to have a better understanding of why the correct answer was correct and why the other answers were wrong. I find that I learn best when I know the reasoning behind it all. I plan on at least taking 5 topics a week and reviewing/studying them. That way I can feel more confident and prepared for when I do take the NCLEX.
You’ll have plenty of opportunity to practice these questions through your assessments for the rest of the semester as well as the ATI live review at the end of the semester.
