Taking the ATI adaptive pharmacology assessment was an eye-opening experience. While I was taking the test, I was shocked to see so many medications that I have not heard of or learned about yet. I was also disappointed in myself for not being able to remember more information on the medications that I did know. Taking this quiz helped me realize that I need to spend more time on study medications along with their side effects and their education points. On another note, I was happy with how much information I could recall without reviewing or refreshing my mind on any pharmacology information. I am also proud that I ranked in the “hard” category while taking this quiz. For the future, I plan to take ten medications a week and study them so by the time that I take the NCLEX I will be more prepared than I was when taking this quiz.
